Whether you are test driving the used Canter or used Cube there are some things you should consider.  The Canter is a commercial vehicle that requires a specific type of license for you to drive. In a second hand car with a manual transmission like the used Lexus you will want to check the various speeds and the clutch.  A clutch issue will make it hard to change gears without first pumping it to lubricate it.  The stick shift, when the gears are not working properly may become stuck.  In this instance reaching second from first may be a problem, where you have to depress the clutch twice and try changing gears again.  Noises can also be heard if the manual transmission has issues.
There are less important aspects to check on the used Cube or used Canter.  The mechanics are most important, but you also want to make sure the seats move, the windows work, wipers are in good condition, and other aspects of vehicles.  Test drives help you find any problems.

If you look at the performance of both cars it may be hard to answer the question of whether Mitsubishi vehicles or Toyota is better.  They both have good reputations for producing fine cars.  The Mazda may be cheaper to purchase than the Toyota as they tend to retain more value.  Whenever you look for a new or used car though, you should try and find models from each manufacturer that is close to the same.  This way the specifications will be more alike.  Then the decision might come down to preference in looks or comfort.

A Toyota Ipsum is a bit more luxurious than the Mazda.  The window in the front is very wide with a sloping front.  The back is also squared off for effective cargo space.  There are models of the Toyota Ipsum that come with a navigation system in the center of the dashboard.   The dials are smaller in the Ipsum, but still easy to see and use.  The steering wheel is on the right side of the vehicle and it is wrapped in leather.  There are three rows of seats in the Toyota Ipsum with cloth seats.  The front seats have armrests and the second row has a fold down armrest for the passengers.  The Ipsum is a 2.4 liter engine with automatic transmission.  Certain packages can add four wheel drive to the Ipsum.

While these cars are very similar in exterior appearance there are several differences inside.  The Toyota is more luxurious while the Mazda is more basic.  The cheaper Mazda is a good car with fewer amenities than the Toyota Corolla.  If you are buying a used vehicle compare mileage, any repairs that may have been done and what it costs to insure before making any decisions.
